On July 15, the Yves Saint Laurent men's fashion show took place in the Agafay desert not far from Marrakech. In total more than 300 journalists and personalities met to discover Anthony Vaccarello's collection

Several problems were analyzed in the installation of this parade. Already, all these beautiful people have arrived in private jets and vans, which pollute a lot, why not make shuttles? Then let's get to the heart of the matter: the construction around the parade. A 6 kilometer road has been built, disproportionate infrastructures have been erected such as several buildings at least 30 meters high (in the middle of the desert?), a vip lounge, a swimming pool filled to 500m3

Several media like Brains not available, a famous media that talks about climate struggle, declared on Twitter that this parade was a "parade of shame", explaining that this parade that these installations have distorted the landscape.

The Kering group, which owns the brand, has declared that it has made infrastructures that will be recycled and that they respect the group's ecological plan.

But Brains not available to explain following his tweets that the pool water was emptied along the roads and that this water should have been allocated to the surrounding villages and not for a parade that lasts 15 min.

This parade could have been paraded elsewhere and even in the middle of the city to possibly make the population benefit from the event and the infrastructures could have been avoided, the swimming pool did not need to be built it is even irresponsible since many villages in Morocco are deprived of drinking water. It's always the same problem, people are asked to pay attention to their energy consumption, to be careful not to fly too much, while a certain "elite" population takes the liberty of taking plane 2 or 3 times a week and consume a lot of energy.

Fast-fashion: why is it better to buy in a thrift store than in a store?

Fast-fashion: why is it better to buy in a thrift store than in a store?

For those who still don't know, a thrift store is a business where old clothes are sold.

Indeed, the problems of waste management are becoming more and more pressing. Billions of tons of waste are generated each year, most of which ends up in landfills.

Not only does this harm the environment, but it also takes up valuable space that could be used for other purposes. One way to help reduce the amount of waste produced each year is to shop at thrift stores.

Recently, major brands such as Zara, Ralph Lauren, Adidas and Nike have been attacked over the forced labor of Uyghurs.

Indeed, a Muslim minority repressed and exploited by Beijing according to human rights defenders.

The United Kingdom and Canada have decided to ban imports of goods suspected of being made from forced labour. It's a very good decision that was made on their part. These brands should be boycotted.

In addition, we have witnessed the scandal of SHEIN on the despicable working conditions that employees suffer. A journalist has infiltrated the company, and claims that employees could work until 6 p.m. a day… Which is inhuman.

These scandals made the population react enormously.

We could favor thrift stores rather than the big brands. Especially since clothes in thrift stores are often cheaper and of much better quality than at certain brands.

Thrift stores offer great deals, help reduce waste and promote sustainability.

By purchasing used products, we can extend the life of the product.

Shopping at thrift stores is therefore a great way to reduce waste and promote sustainability.

And no, being vegan is not just a diet! It is also a way of interpreting life. To turn towards veganism is to try not to consume products that have suffered animal exploitation and cruelty. It goes through a diet but also the way of dressing or even in cosmetics. People who are vegan try to consume as many organic products as possible.

As far as the world of cosmetics is concerned, a product is said to be vegan when it does not contain any ingredients from animals such as beeswax, honey or keratin.
